Joplin MO Tornado Aftermath : A little over a week after the Joplin Tornado of May 22, 2011, I loaded up my truck with as many supplies for donation as I could and headed there for a couple days to help anyone that we could. Your Bio

I have been an amateur photographer for over 30 years. I have a passion for severe weather, IE; tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms, and chase storms in May and June. Professionally I am the captain of a Great Lakes merchant ship that carries iron ore and stone from the upper lakes to the steel mills in the Chicago region. Needless to say photo opportunities are endless with my lifestyle.
